Different types of hair need different ways of treatment in order to look better. Hair stylists can provide professional hair care tips to people after taking into consideration the type of the person. Professional care tips can be helpful for people to decrease the damage caused as well as loss of hair.

Specialized  Hair  Care Tips:

1. If you want to recreate the salon look at home, pay interest to the products your stylist uses, and how she uses them. Chances are you can pay for the exact styling products your stylist uses, either at the salon, or at a beauty supply store like Sally.
2. Some hair care products can reduce the look of split ends, but the only way to remove them is by regular trimmings. These products are fine in between visits to the salon, but don’t expect miracles.
3. We all want what we cannot have. While your stylist may be able to add curl and body to fine straight hair, doing this at home can be problematic. Choose hair styles and cuts that compliment the natural texture of your hair for styling ease at home.

4. In fact It  does not matter if the rest of your hair is silky and shiny if those face framing strands are out of control. Use a small amount of smoothing hair product and a fine-tooth comb to charm your hairline into submission. Finish your style with a light to medium hold, anti-humidity hair spray.
5. As a common rule, straight and silky styles benefit from blow drying before styling. For wavy, or loosely curled styles, I suggest blow drying hair until it is only slightly damp before using hot rollers to achieve the desired style. For extremely curly styles, gently scrunching your curls after applying your hair product of choice is the best option to combat the frizzes.

6. When you visit your stylist, don’t fib about your natural color or the rate of coloring. We can tell when you do. You are giving us the information that we need to ensure that you get exactly the hair color result that you want.

7. If you like to make longer the life of your blow out, going a few days in between shampoos is fine. Be aware that human hair does hold on to odors, so if you smoke or live with people who do, daily washing may be necessary. The growing selection of powder shampoos is making it easy to hold on to a great style, manage oily hair, and give your hair a shampoo-fresh scent.
8. All too often people make drastic changes to their hair before they are ready. Growing out shorter styles is done regularly, and the same rule should apply for going from long locks to short styles. This will give you time to adjust in stages, instead of one dramatic cut that you may not be ready to deal with.

9. Going one or two shades lighter or darker can regularly be done safely at home. When you desire a more dramatic color change, or difficult highlights, it is best to trust your hair to the hands of a trained professional.

10. Short-term hair colors can give you a much needed update without the commitment, or give you an idea as to how a new color will look on you. Wearing your hair up, or simply changing your part are also simple (and short-term) ways to switch up your look.

GRAYING OF HAIR

Graying of hair is a natural process. Hair turns gradually grey (gray) due to a reduction pigment in the hair bulb as the age increase. The premature greying may be due to following reasons: Premature greying of the hair is basically hereditary. So if your father's or grandfather's hair started early to turn grey there is a chance that your will also have premature greying pf hairs. Excessive prolonged stress, anxiety and tension can also produce greying.

Sever illness like typhoid too can start greying. Other factors which may contribute to it are are the excessive intake of tea, coffee and alcohol; fried and oily foods; excessive spices; sour and acidic foods. Deficiency of nutrients especially copper can reduce the production of melanin. Eat foods rich in iodine such as banana, carrots and fish. Drinking buttermilk with 2 teaspoons each of yeast and wheat germ will prevent and cure premature greying of hair. Rub Indian gooseberry (Amla) mixed in coconut oil into the scalp regularly. It can show wonderful results, your gray hair will turn black. Boil some dried amla pieces in coconut oil till it turns black. Apply this oil to prevent hair greying.

HAIR REBONDING

Rebonding is the process where the hair is straightened using chemicals so that there are no curls. When chemicals  (also known as hair straightening creams) are used, they ideally change the structure of the hair. But when these straightening creams are used on the hair due to the change of the hair's natural structure they cause damage. After the straightening cream is washed away, another cream called a neutralized is used to help the hair retain its colour. this also affects the hair in a serious way. The neutralizer cream needs to be applied while the straightening cream is still effective. If the neutralizer is not applied chances are that the colour will change irreversibly. Thus it is always advised that you visit a reputable salon and the hairdresser assess the strenghthof your hair to check it can tolerate these effects. If your hair is already thin and damaged don;t go for the rebonding because the effects are irreversible. Also, your hair needs to be oiled frequently. It is also advised to trim it regularly since that would help in hair growth. Shampooing and using good conditioners also help maintain your hair after rebonding . If you feel that your hair is losing strength go for the treatment to regain some body.
